Let guilds chose to swap ends of their guild hall
For this thread I'm defining the "home end" of the guild hall as the end people enter when they map to the guild hall. The "away end" is the the other end where the opposing guild lord starts off in GvG matches.
Because I don't like PvPing I'm also operating under the assumption that none of the guild halls give an advantage to the team starting one end over the team starting at the other end. If you find this isn't true, please file it as a bug.
There are some guild halls where I like both ends of the hall (Isle of Meditation) and others where I hate the current home end, but actually like the current away end (Druids Isle).
So what I'm proposing is that ANET allow us to chose which end of the guild hall becomes the home end. If you chose the current away end then when people map to the guild hall they arrive there, with the NPCs also distributed around there. If you go into a GvG match on your hall using the current away end as your home end, then its just a match where the sides have swapped over.
The easiest way for ANET to implement this would be to copy all the current halls, move the outpost NPCs (and their boxes, forge, etc) to the other end, swap the spawn points for the GvG NPC's, then add that guild hall under a new name (eg: Isle of Meditation reversed). Then if someone wants to change ends, they just switch their hall to the reversed version like they are just changing the hall. HA players would probably appreciate the spike in sigil prices this causes, if the spike is noticeable. But there are probably cleverer ways for ANET to do this.
